Activation in extended support period
Sometimes I purchase extra software just in case my hardware fails and I need
to install on a new PC and I don't want to upgrade to a new version just then. But now I am worried that I might not be able to activate it, if it is now longer being sold or if the first five years of mainstream support have come to an end. For example Office 2003: how long will I be able to activate that? Or Outlook 2007 and Office for Home and Student 2007? Can I activate software generally during the extended support period? |

Activation has nothing to do with support.
And if you own a retail version why would you need to obtain 'extra' software in case of hardware failure? "officeuser53" wrote in message ...
