Default Meetings are Disappearing

I have Outlook 2007 - exchange account.
I do use a BB.
I have noticed some calendar entries disappearing. They are always the ones
for meetings I have sent myself for non-recurring events. They remain in the
invitees' calendar.
After some investigation I believe it only happens when I updare an
invitation that was sent to an email alias I'm part of.
E.g. If I update a meeting request for a meeting I created an hour ago and
sent to the email aalias "UK_All" - which I'm part of - then the meeting gets
removed from my calendar immediately.
Any idea what's wrong?

I have a rule that says that if I receive an email sent by myself (like it
would happen if I sent an invite to "UK_All") then to move that email to the
'Sent' folder. Could that be the problem?

Thanks

Do you have your BB configured to keep calendar items forever? If not, the BB
sync process will remove those items from the calendar irreversably.

Do you have the latest Outlook updates? This is a known issue but I forget
if its fixed by SP2 or a later update.
