Excel 97-03 files not recognized as Excel files
files saved as Excel 97-03 files with Excel 2007 are not being recognized as
Excel files by Vista, but simply as "XLS" files. Tried manually associating these files with the Excel application files (Excel.exe) directly, but Vista will not allow me to choose that application - I can browse to it, but not select it as an option to open the file of interest.
