Word 2007 Page Border printing problems w/ HP 1350
When I create a Page Border using Word 2007 Page Layout Tab the borders show
correctly in Print Layout view, but when I use Print Preview or actually Print the document, the bottom portion of the border does not print. Adjusting the Page Layout / Page Border / Options / Bottom Margin helps some but the max adjustment is 31 points which is not enough. Any suggestions? -- Ted ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. The dialogs may be different for 2007 but

Are you sure that you set the correct paper size? I experience this when i'm
printing on a letter (8.5" x 11") sized paper while the one set on page setup is A4 -- Chester C. Word 2007 Page Border printing problems w/ HP 1350
Thank you for your suggestions. I have already tried the Printer Margins and
changing the Document Size. Neither of these worked. The link given did not have any new ideas. I thought I found a solution: Under Wrod Options / Advanced there is a compatability option. When I set the document to Compatability for Microsoft Word 2003 it worked. But when I closed the document, it revert to Microsoft Word 2007 and I cannot now get it to change. -- Ted "Ted" wrote: When I create a Page Border using Word 2007 Page Layout Tab the borders show correctly in Print Layout view, but when I use Print Preview or actually Print the document, the bottom portion of the border does not print. Word 2007 Page Border printing problems w/ HP 1350
I have now decided that the problem is with the HP Print drivers. I also
have a Canon Inkjet iP6600D printer which I usually use only for Photo printing. When I switch the Canon to be my default printer, the bottom border prints properly. Now my next problem: there is a Windows update for HP 1350 print drivers but when I download it, I get an error. I will check the HP site to see if there is an update. -- Ted "Ted" wrote: When I create a Page Border using Word 2007 Page Layout Tab the borders show correctly in Print Layout view, but when I use Print Preview or actually Print the document, the bottom portion of the border does not print. You need to set the page border from "Text" instead of "Edge of page." See
