Word 2007 Page Border printing problems w/ HP 1350
When I create a Page Border using Word 2007 Page Layout Tab the borders show
correctly in Print Layout view, but when I use Print Preview or actually Print the document, the bottom portion of the border does not print. Adjusting the Page Layout / Page Border / Options / Bottom Margin helps some but the max adjustment is 31 points which is not enough. Are you sure that you set the correct paper size? I experience this when i'm
printing on a letter (8.5" x 11") sized paper while the one set on page setup is A4 -- Chester C. Thank you for your suggestions. I have already tried the Printer Margins and
changing the Document Size. Neither of these worked. The link given did not have any new ideas. I thought I found a solution: Under Wrod Options / Advanced there is a compatability option. When I set the document to Compatability for Microsoft Word 2003 it worked. I have now decided that the problem is with the HP Print drivers. I also
have a Canon Inkjet iP6600D printer which I usually use only for Photo printing. When I switch the Canon to be my default printer, the bottom border prints properly. Now my next problem: there is a Windows update for HP 1350 print drivers but when I download it, I get an error. You need to set the page border from "Text" instead of "Edge of page." See
