Professional vs. Standard
I am looking to use Visio to aid in UML diagramming - does this feature come
with standard - I couldn't tell from the comparison on the MS Office site. Thanks, Derek |

UML diagramming is part of Visio Professional. However, if you want to
generate code from UML diagram models, you need Visual Studio Enterprise Architect. -- Mark Nelson Microsoft Corporation This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Visio Professional allow you to go from code to model but not model to code.
Visual Studio Enterprise Architect comes with a version of Visio that supports model to code. -- Mark Nelson Microsoft Corporation This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
