Opening Visio 2002 Org Chart with Visio 2003
I created an org chart from excel data using the import
wizard in Visio 2002 and imported a fair amount of custom data (department, cost centre, etc). When i open the file with Visio 2003 the shapes are "converted" and none of the custom data is there any more. Viso 2003 SP1 has not solved the problem. any suggestions? |

The custom properties should be transferred to the Visio 2003 shapes but
they may not be displayed the same way as they were in Visio 2002. You can confirm that the custom properties are present by right clicking on a shape and selecting "Properties". You can change the display options from the Organization Chart-Options menu item. Select the Fields tab and choose the properties that you want displayed. Hope this helps. -- Mike Mueller WinFX SDK Team This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. "LanternRouge" wrote in message ...
