Default Outlook 2003 Registry Problem

Problem appeared after 3 significant events:
1. I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7.
2. I installed Windows Live Mail, including the Outlook connector.
3. I added a Yahoo account to Outlook using the connector.

Outlook could not connect with Yahoo. It wouldn't stop trying. I tried to
close the account to no avail. Under Tools, when I select EMail Accounts I
receive an error suggesting I have a registry problem, that I should restart
and, if that doesn't work, reinstall Outlook.

Restart, the Fix routine and a complete reinstallation have not solved the
problem. In additon to the symptom mentioned above, Outlook will no longer
perfrom a send/receive.

Windows Live Mail , the mail client, or Windows Live, the service?

The Outlook Connector is used only for Windows Live/MSN/Hotmail. You cannot
connect to any other mail service with the Connector.

Outlook could not connect with Yahoo.

If you're using a yahoo.com address, unless you pay for the account, you
cannot use Outlook to access it.
