When sending a message: To: previous addressees from previously have been
wiped out and have to start all over. Only good for the current day.

This is a sign that either Outlook is not closing properly or that your mail
profile is damaged. To check the first, close Outlook and then examine the
Processes tab of task Manager. If you see OUTLOOK.EXE still there, then you
have something keeping Outlook from closing and properly writing the
autocompletion data. Look here for ideas on what it might be:

If the problem is a broken mail profile, use the Mail applet in Control Panel
to create a new one.
