Where are the pivottable chart buttons?
In Excel 2003, If you made a graph of a pivot table you would have buttons
inside the graph that would allow you to make certain selections or filters inside the graph. Where are these in Excel 2007? Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance! |

Where are the pivottable chart buttons?
In Excel 2007 there's a PivotChart Filter Pane. It has dropdowns that
you can use to filter the fields. Where are the pivottable chart buttons?
And that is the only way to filter? The buttons in the graphs are not
featured anymore in Excel 2007? Thanks, Jelmer "Debra Dalgleish" wrote: In Excel 2007 there's a PivotChart Filter Pane. It has dropdowns that you can use to filter the fields. That's right, there are no buttons on the pivot charts in Excel 2007.

Where are the pivottable chart buttons?
Hi Debra,
I have just posted my own question on this and then found this thread. My specific problem is that if the chart is printed or viewed by less experienced users it's not obvious how the data is filtered. When the buttons were visible so was the filtering data, how is this addressed in 2007? -- ATB Russ "Debra Dalgleish" wrote: That's right, there are no buttons on the pivot charts in Excel 2007. Where are the pivottable chart buttons?
Unfortunately, it's not addressed in Excel 2007.
You could add a title to the chart that links to a worksheet cell, and show the selected date that way. For example, if the date filter is in cell B3, select the chart title, and type an equal sign. Then, click on cell B3, and press Enter Russ wrote: Hi Debra, I have just posted my own question on this and then found this thread.
