Default Trouble with forms and DAP's (newbie here)

I just created a very simple access database with a few fillable fields, as
well as few drop down selections. At the bottom of the form there are 4
buttons (add record, print, search, and e-mail record).

What I'm looking to do is make it so that those that need to enter data into
the form, will launch an application where ONLY the form opens, without all
of the database utilities behind it.

If there's an easy way to do that without going the route of DAP's, then
feel free to enlighten me.

If not, I tried to save the form as a dap, and was able to do so, however,
when doing so, all of the buttons lost their function, and only 2 of the few
fields are usable.

Can someone shed some light on this for a newbie?
