I bought new laptop (Display Model) and 3 license version Office 2007. I
installed 2007 then decided to take laptop back. Can I recover that install
so I can keep the 3 license active.

There is not deactivate process. If you find you need that third
installation down the road, you may have to use the telephone activation
method and explain the situation.

Thank You JoAnn.

I don't suppose you have a link to the Phone Number for the "Telephone
Activation Method."

Just in case.........

It will tell you the number to call if/when you need it.

Hi--I'm facing a similar situation. I downloaded the trial version of
Publisher 2007, then bought a full license. My computer subsequently crashed
(hard drive failure), and I'm not sure if I need to call Microsoft to "free
up" my license. I have the 25-digit Product Key here. If I try to license
Publisher again and use this Product Key to validate the license, will it
reject me because it's considered used already?

Thanks,

Joel
