Default No list of options in 2nd box of cascade combo!

I have a form and subform for customer names and branch addresses. I have
done the requerying so that the list of addresses I can choose from doesn't
include the current address.

If a customer only has one branch address then there will be no choice in
the address search box.

After I have selected the customer I want to have a message which pops up
after checking whether there is a list to choose from. I guess it would be in
the "before update" event but I am not sure what the code would be.

Cheers.

I would suggest the form's Current event.
