Default Reminder recurrence error in ol2003 startup

Something has cased a recurrence reminder error, so at startup of ol2003 I am
told that the reminders cannot be displayed but it give me no direction as to
what reminder recurrence is causing the problem.

Start-run-outlook.exe /cleanreminders.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, notwv asked:

Thank you I tried that and that allowd current reminders to come up but I
still get the same error it reads

"There was a problem reading one or more of your reminders. Some reminders
may not appear. Cannot locate reccurance information for this appointment."

It appears that you have a corrupt appointment item then. Set your calendar
view to Recurrence and then click on each item until you get the error.
Once you do, make note of the calendar item's details, then delete that
item. Recreate it with the saved information in a new item.
