Word Task Pane...
Whenever I have opened up Word, the Task Pane has always appeared and now it
has disappeared. I have to click on View, and click on Task Pane for it to appear. Also, in Tools, Options, View, under Show, there is a check by Startup Task Pane. I am wondering why it is now never there when opening up from the beginning?

Word Task Pane...
Some add-ins will prevent it from appearing. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...owTaskPane.htm. Note that you need only run the Task Pane Controller macro once (to change the Registry setting); then you should uninstall the Task Pane Controller add-in because it will cause problems in recent versions of Word (triggers an "Opening This Will Run the Following SQL Command" message when you start Word). -- Suzanne S. OK thank you for your help. I've done that and it works, although it takes a
second or so longer for Word to fully open now. Ive checked Excel and it works perfectly well, with the task pane present at startup and opens instantly. "Suzanne S.
