Outlook Calendar to Powerpoint Slide need MORE help....
Trying to get my outlook calendar into a powerpoint presentation. I have
seen two questions answered on this telling the questioners to use a template at http://www.slipstick.com/addins/calendar_print.asp. I need more help than this. What does use a template mean? Where are the templates on this link as I cannot find them. Help, sinking fast and boss really wants that calendar of his in a ppt file SOON. Robin |

Outlook Calendar to Powerpoint Slide need MORE help....
Actually it is his group calendar and he wants to use it for the all hands
meeting to show what he has tracked for the group. I am still unsure what to do with a template. When I go to the site you recommend there is a very long list of THINGS. None of them directly say "use this to convert Outlook calendars to Powerpoint slides". Can you give me the specific link on the site you recommended which will get me what I need? And I am also unsure as to how a template is going to convert my outlook calender to a powerpoint slide. I don't even know how to get the calendar out of Outlook let alone apply the template in powerpoint. Thanks so much for all the help; I feel like an idiot for not being able to get this on my own but I swear, NOTHING I have done has worked. *sigh* scully134 "Diane Poremsky {MVP}" wrote: Are you familiar with Word templates? Outlook Calendar to Powerpoint Slide need MORE help....
none of those apps will say "use this to convert to a powerpoint slide"
because AFAIK, there are no apps specifically for that purpose, possibly because not many people have the need. You need to use a word template (there are two in that list) to create a calendar in word (it pulls data from the calendar) then import the word doc you created into powerpoint. Or you could use screen print and paste the image into ppt - that would be the fastest and easiest. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Scully134" wrote in message ... Outlook calender to powerpoint
For future reference. In order to transport Outlook calender to powerpoint, you must go to your start menu/All programs. Find your snipping tool. With the area of the calender you want to transport to powerpoint showing, select snipping tool. Your calender will highlight white. Your cursor will be an plus symbol. Just highlight as you would highlight an area to copy or cut; run your cursor the same way (from top left to bottom right). If you want to add the dates on the side and the days on the top, ensure you highlight those too. A red line will show were you will be cutting the calender at. Once you do that, the calender will appear in a box. You can choose other options, for example; saving, coping, etc. I found it easier to save it to your pictures, then open your powerpoint slide with a new slide where you want it. Select insert, add picture, select your saved calender, then just get your calender to fit your new slide. It's pretty easy after you do it once or twice.
