"copy-paste" malfunction
I am currently using the PowerPoint 2007 beta version. I have noticed that
after a recent update, I am not able to copy and paste anything to the powerpoint presentation. Also, the powerpoint has started to run very slow after this update...does anyone else has noticed similar problems?

I have not noticed these particular issues. I do have problems with copying
and pasting and other odd things now and then, but a reboot has always taken care of it. You might try changing your hardware acceleration -- knock it down some and see if that helps at all. Especially if it's Norton/Symantec, you will want to disable the Office plug-in. Have you tried running the diagnostics?
