Default "Date" question for PowerPoint

I want to insert the date the file was last saved in the footer. It appears
the only option is to insert the date the file was last opened or printed.

Am I able to insert a "Last Saved Date" (or something similar) in the footer
of a PowerPoint presentation? Is yes, what steps do I take?

Thanks!

Jeanne,
I'm afraid there is no such feature in PPT like you can find in Word. You
can find the last modified date and the last
accessed date in the file properties statistics tab. But there is no way you
can insert those in the footer automatically, not that I know of. Unless you
do it manually by selecting those dates and using ctrl+c and ctrl+v to get
them in your presentation.
