"Enter" and line spacing
Hi, I'm really confused because my textboxes all used to look fine and all of
a sudden the line spacing started to look to big, so I figured out how to set the line spacing defaults, but the strange thing is that whenever I hit "enter" inside of a textbox to go to the next line the spacing for the lines that I hit enter between is still pretty big. The only time that the line spacing stays as I defaulted it is when the text trails naturally from one line to the next without me hitting "enter". But I want to hit "enter" to make things look the way I want, so what do I do? |

"Enter" and line spacing
I'm guessing that you don't fully understand how paragraph spacing works (and
its not that obvious!) If you want the same distance between lines when you press enter as when text overflows you need to set before and after paragraph spacing to zero. If you set a value in eg before paragraph it is ADDED to the line spacing so if you've set 1 as seems instinctive you'll get a double line space when you press enter -- email john AT technologytrish.co.uk Improve your skills - http://www.technologytrish.co.uk/ppttipshome.html Need a dice throw for a ppt game?- http://www.technologytrish.co.uk/dice.html "Help Please" wrote: Hi, I'm really confused because my textboxes all used to look fine and all of a sudden the line spacing started to look to big, so I figured out how to set the line spacing defaults, but the strange thing is that whenever I hit "enter" inside of a textbox to go to the next line the spacing for the lines that I hit enter between is still pretty big.
