Default Filter on Cross Posting?

Does anybody know if it's going to be possible in the future to filter
newsgroups based on the number of groups crossposted to? It seems that much of
the unwanted content could be filtered in this way.

It has been asked for many times, but the development team has indicated it
will not likely ever happen. Plus, there will be no future updates for
Outlook Express beyond its present version, with the single exception of
updates for security reasons.

I guess I just need to stick with NewsProxy. It takes care of it seamlessly

why MS is so unresponsive to its customers.

Outlook Express has a very small programming team and is much to busy fixing
bugs in Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail Desktop to do much with OE. It's
been a very small team forever (at least 8 years).

Add to that...

Unfortunately, Windows can't be all things to all people. And just
because Microsoft doesn't push aside its other work and jump to fulfill
your request doesn't make it "so unresponsive to its customers."
