Default Can't Access OE File Folder When Importing into Outlook

I'm switching from Outlook Xprs on old computer to Outlook on WinXP. I
copied my OE storage files (dbx type) as directed by Microsoft into a folder
now in the XP machine. When I try to import the files from the folder I get
"Mail Folder could not be opened..." Folder shows a green dot in "read only"
which always returns. Any ideas?

You can't import DBX files directly into Outlook. You must first import
them into Outlook Express on the new machine and then export the messages to
Outlook using Outlook Express.
