Default Can I create an auto refresh pivot table for novice users?

I am attempting to create a spreadsheet that would be used by novice users to
record their time spent at various locations. This information would then be
printed and forwarded to HR for payroll. I can't rely on the spreadsheet
users to refresh the data, can I create a form control or something to
refresh the data before printing?
