Header in 2007
In 2003 when you create a header it gave you the option of inserting the file
and path name. For example if I save it to the c drive it reads c:/mydocuments/Class.docx (for example). That way we know exactly where the file is. I am now working in 2007 and I do not see this feature. Does anyone know where it is at? I tried going to the header and using quick parts, and then choosing field, but nothing comes up. |

Header in 2007
On the header & footer tools, design tab Insert group quick parts.
Choose building block filename for an autotext entry of the files name. If you prefer a little more control, choose field filename, where you have the option to add the full path and to specify the case (caps, initial caps, lowercase, etc.) of the words.
