User cant open outlook
I know exactly what happened. This user opened Outllook for the first time
and just chose all the default options. I would of wanted her to select "no email", she is just supposed to use the contact list and calender. Now she gets the infamous "unable to open your default email folders" error. I tried deleting the accounts from Control Panel-Mail. I tried resetting her email in the Control Panel-Internet Explorer-Programs tab but still same thing even when she logs out and logs back in. Any way to reset the app to "No Email"? |

Any way to reset the app to "No Email"? What version of Outlook is this? In OL2002 or 2003 you can, delete the old profile(s), create a new one, and not add any e-mail accounts when you create it. Outlook will automatically be in No e-mail mode. In fact, OL2003 with the SP applied will even warn you that you are in that mode. -- Athena |
