Default problem not solved since 04/30/07

I am running Chinese Access 2002 and found that whenever I tried to input
characters in form, query, table and etc..., the Chinese input is selected
instead of English. In the same machine, I got English input defaulted in
word and excel, no problem. The language in control panel is selected as
English as well. Now everytime I need to press ctrl + shift to turn to
English input. I think there is an option where I can accomplish this. Can
anyone please help? Thanks.

I'm sorry, but I've never installed the Chinese version, and I - probably like
most of the other volunteers here - simply don't know any anwer. I presume you
have compacted the database and checked the database's and Windows' language
settings, but not having used those either I can't make any useful
suggestions.

Note that this newsgroup is staffed by volunteers. Nobody here works for
Microsoft; nobody is paid to reply; and you're not charged for the service. I
wish I could answer your question for you but... I simply can't.

You might try a search on http://groups.google.com; use advanced search, and
search the microsoft.public.access.* newsgroups for "language" or more
specific searches.

Good luck!

You could try asking your question in the Chinese Access newsgroup.
