Dyanamically loading images in a report
I’m using Access via Office XP.
I need to generate a report that can have three different signatures on it. Each signature is in a .jpg file. Based upon a flag that is set in a “data selection / option / menu” form that is run from the report “On Open” event, I would like to have one of three different signature print on the form. I have about 20 forms that need this functionality and the signatures usually change about once a year. Also, I have three different offices and each of the offices have a different people who are responsible for these forms. So I have a total of 60 signatures that can change each year. I know that I can have three different images on the form and hide the ones I do not need. However, that means that I have to load the images on to the forms each year, which I do not want to do. Ideally, I would have the .jpg file name for each signature stored in a table. When the user indicates which signature I should use, I would like to dynamically load the signature .jpg file in the report’s “On Open” event (or some other event if needed). I can convert the signature .jpg files into some other graphic format is needs (.bmp or gif) if needed. Thank you for your assistance. --------- Dennis |

Dyanamically loading images in a report
All,
I did not do my search properly, I just repeated what should have been my original search and found a link to a similar quesetion. It is: http://www.microsoft.com/communities...2-b509cf43667c I'm going to try that solution first. If that does not work, I will re-post my question. Thank you. Dennis |
