Default I believe I have an AutoCorrect Issue with a field name?

I have 4 linked tables in Access 2007. At one point in time I was
having issues with what turned out to be an AutoCorrect associated file
and whether or not AutoCorrect was turned on/off.
Apparently as a fallout to that (just guessing), I have a field name
that comes up 'notes/discrepancies' as the heading of all my queries,
when in fact, the field name in the table (design view) is shown as 'Notes']
What is the best way to fix this issue? The table has thousands of records.

BobC,

Try creating a new database making sure that, ummm, feature... is turned
off. Then import your tables, queries, forms, etc. into it and see if that
clears up the issue.

There is two check boxes associated with the autocorrect; do I uncheck
both? I have never decided it that whole thing is good or bad?
Do you have an opinion?
Thanks,
Bob

BobC,

Uncheck both... The majority of Access Developers I deal with consider that
MIS-featrue to cause more harm then good. I myself turn it off... and when
they do any work for me you MUST turn it off or my OCD kicks in and you have
to listen to me rant until I run out of steam!

Hmmm, might have been a tad overkill...

Another possibility is that you have assigned a caption to the field and are
viewing the query in datasheet view. If that is the case, Access will show
you the caption property of the field in datasheet view.
