Default Excel Tab Issue

When I use the Tab key it jumps several columns instead of 1 column. I don't
know how it got this way, nor how to get it back.

Default Excel Tab Issue

In Excel 2003 & earlier:
Tools Options Transition tab uncheck transition navigation keys.

In Excel 2007 it's Office Button Excel Options Advanced.
Lotus Compatibility is down towards the bottom.

Hope this helps,

Hutch

It may be that the columns, or the cells in the columns you wish to jump to,
are locked. This will cause the cursor to jump cells (or columns or rows).

Check if they are protected by going to Tools/Protection/Unprotect.
