Auto numbering of Publisher booklets
Greetings! I have a 4-page Publisher booklet with the merge file field
appearing on the back cover. When I do a Print Preview of the booklet, the numbers (1-275) show up fine. When I print, the output comes out 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, etc. They appeared fine in the preview...any idea why they reset when coming out of the printer? Thanks |

Do you have a duplex unit? What are you using as a data base? I tried to
duplicate your problem, printing to a PDF and then a few booklets on two different printers, I don't get this issue. What version Publisher are you using? -- Mary Sauer MVP http://msauer.mvps.org/ "Jay" wrote in message ... Greetings! Thanks for writing back. My printer is a duplex unit. I am using an Excel
2007 file (with header) and Publisher 2007. |

Merge to a new publication in step 3 of the wizard. You will have a pretty large
file, but it may print correctly. You don't need to save the new file, it can be recreated easily enough. -- Mary Sauer MVP http://msauer.mvps.org/ "Jay" wrote in message ... Thanks for writing back. My printer is a duplex unit. I am using an Excel 2007 file (with header) and Publisher 2007. |
