Default .att file extension on forwarded calendar request

Any idea why the calendar requests from our client are coming over with an
attachment named something like ATT1135421.ATT? Is there a way to open them
in Outlook?

Thanks!

Charles,

I don’t know why this is happening but I do have a resolution to the issue.

Go to My Computer/tools/folder options

Select the file type tab

Search for the .ATT file, if it is there delete it.

Now create a new file extension called ATT, click advanced and associate the
file with vCalendar.

Now close outlook if you have it open, the reopen Outlook and open the
meeting request.

Thanks

I've searched my entire C: drive and cannot locate vCalendar. So no luck...

Any idea where I can locate this?

Thanks!

You need to follow the instructions I outlined. If you post an email address
I can send screenshots.
