Using Photo's in a publication
I am trying to create a Calendar, 12 pages plus a cover 1 month to a opening.
I want to have a photo from my collection showing each month, it will be printed on the reverse side of the page. My problem is I can't see the photo when I insert it I have looked at the View menu and set the picture setting to view picture not placeholder? what else am I getting wrong? -- Banjo Pat |

Try resizing them before you import them. Publisher has a 16MB limit for image files. Have a look at the followng articles: (218675) You receive a "Publisher cannot complete the operation" error message when you import pictures in Publisher 2002 and in Publisher 2000 http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=218675 (827316) Error message when you try to save a Publisher 2007 or Publisher 2003 publication to an earlier version: "There is a picture on page Page_Num that is too large to be converted to previous versions of Publisher" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827316 -- John Inzer MS Picture It! - Digital Image MVP Digital Image Highlights and FAQs http://support.microsoft.com/ph/695 Notice This is not tech support I am a volunteer Solutions that work for me may not work for you Proceed at your own risk |

G'day John, I don't think that's the problem as it is a jpeg image 1.32mg. I
am using Publisher 2002 as a part of Office XP 2002 sp3, Clipart in the same document seems ok I can resize it as I wish. Thanks for your offer and thought. -- Banjo Pat "John Inzer" wrote: Banjo wrote: I am trying to create a Calendar, 12 pages plus a cover 1 month to a opening.
