the IIII visually balances VIII better than IV and VIII, so you will see it both ways. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rob Giordano Microsoft MVP Expression "Deggers" wrote in message ... | No problem however i will be using the right combination ie for the no. 4 | i'll use IIII instead of IV. | Thanks anyway | Deggers | | "Rob Giordano (Crash)" wrote: | | Exactly...what kind of problem are you having typing in I, II, III, IV, V, | VI, VII, VII, etc...? | I don't get the problem. | | | -- | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | Rob Giordano | Microsoft MVP Expression | | | | | | "Deggers" wrote in message | ... | | Thanks all for your help, i am trying to type twelve individual numbers | 1-12 | | using Roman numerals and then place the numbers in a Publisher document. | | Deggers | | | | "Charles W Davis" wrote: | | | | Deggers, | | | | Type an "X" type an "I".... | | | | Are you trying to create a numbered list with the Roman mumerals?
