Default need help with user defined queries

Help!

Is there an easy way to crete a user defined query that does not have
to be an exct match to a field. I can create one that will look up a
full match in a text field, ie "criminal", but it will not bring up
"criminal activity" or "active criminals" what am I doing
wrong...Thanks

Cgdana,

You can use something like this in the criteria of your query...
Like "*" & your search text & "*"
