Default Wizards in Access Not Working

All that i can suggest to you is try to run all the
updates for windows98 or office 2000 and if these dont
work then try to install a older version of office
like '97 just remember to save all your databases as a 97
version or you wont be able to work with them.

Have you tried any hardware fault finding.

if not the first suggestion is the ram

Help! I cannot get the label or Query wizard in Access

2000 to work any longer. I have tried most of the advice
found in this forum. I have checked to ensure
acwzmain.mde and acwztol.mde are present; I tried to
remove Small Business Customer Manager, but although it is
there, it is not an item on the Add/Remove list. Also, I
downloaded Regsvr32.exe and tried to reregister both
Accwiz.dll and Da0360.dll, but received "LoadLibrary
Failed" messages. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled
Office 2000 and Windows 98, but nothing seems to fix the
problem and I have run out of ideas. A few months ago, a
friend had to remove a corrupted dll file (don't recall
which one) which was preventing access to the Internet.
Could this be the source of my problem?

I ran the update for Windows 2000 last night and presto - the Wizards are back! I'm still a bit curious as to why they suddenly stopped working, but I suppose that I should just be happy that they are functioning again. This forum sure saved me!

Maybe the first time you tried to run the update it did
not complete or got corrupted on the way down.

This has happened to me before.

Anyway good luck
