Default Add button is greyed out

Hi there,
One of our users (Win 2000 Prof) can't add a word to his
dictionary when
he runs spell check. The Add button appears but it is
greyed out. Other users can do this with no problems.
I'm guessing it is a permissions setting but not sure
where to look for it.
Any ideas????

Thanks in advance

There's a remote possibility that his custom dictionary is full. Have him
create a new custom dictionary (Word will let you use words from more than
one), set it as the default, and then try again.
