Default anyone know how to put a pdf into a publisher document?

I am having real problems puttin gpdfs into my Publisher docs - any ideas?

Visual Integrity will be along soon with some advertising for their set
of products that cost money. I haven't been able to install the product
on my machine, so can't vouch either way for them. My method works and
does not cost money.

If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat and intent to convert your
publication to PDF or print to a PostScript printer, you can export the
PDF as an EPS, instead, which will mean that your PDF is not
unnecessarily rasterised; potentially decreasing filesize and increasing
resolution.

Acrobat 8 will export as .tiff or jpg or html and several other choices i
cant remember at the moment.
