Default How do I let justify word output to printer

I am trying to print to a 5" wide strip of paper to the left of an Epson
LX-400 (Otherwise the paper sensor thinks there's no paper ! ) and the output
from "Word" is being printed in the middle of the printer, and not in the
middle of the 5" wide strip of paper to the left of the printer. I have set a
custom paper size in both Word and the printer driver but the problem remains.
How can i "left justify" Word's output ?

Don't use a custom paper size, used a standard paper size with a large
margin. Word and the printer will not know the difference, provided you put
the margin in the right place
