Default Remote Database Design

Hello,
looking for some input to the design of a database. I have 6 field trucks
that are always out in remote areas(no cell or communication services), I
would like to have their data sent in at the end of each day and imported
into the main tables that sit on our server, so that my 3 branch locations
can access it. I am new to the complexity of this type of database design
and would appreciate any recommendations that anybody would have in regards
to the design.

Thanks for all the imput in advance

I know this sounds like a dumb question, but if there's no cell phone or comm
services in the remote areas, how do you plan to get the data from the field
trucks to the office where your server is? Overnight express the thumb
drives?

Hi Chris,

The trucks return to the shops just about every night or back to a hotel
where they have internet access. What i need is to be able to print a work
ticket in the field to get the customer to sign but would like the data sent
to the server for storage..say at the end of each day or when they get access.

Thanks

Ryan
