Repost your entire problem and what you have tried. I will ignore it

That often happens if you have Outlook Express set to poll for messages at a
timed interval. Make sure you click the menu in Outlook Express, File/Work
Offline before beginning the compacting operation again. Compacting can
often repair minor damage to the DBX files and may allow you to continue
using the old message store files.

Make certain you do not have the option set in OE Tools/Options/Maintenance
to Compact Messages in the Background as that is the main cause of the
problem with corrupted DBX files if OE is terminated while the background
compacting is taking place. Good luck.
