Out of the Office Rules tips and tricks
Hi,
Can anyone tell me where to find Tips & Tricks for use with Out of the Office rulessets. I've tried several rules with my Out of the Office wizard. I'm looking for a setting where I can activate my Out of the Office for next week and do the settings today (like Lotus Notes). I've tried to work with date rules, but it didn't work fine. |

Out of the Office Rules tips and tricks
Hi Bram,
I just talked to you on the phone about this but here it is for the rest of the newsgroup; Instead of using the OoOA create a normal Wizard Rule. Start with a blank rule and set the condition to received within a certin timeframe. Set the action to have the server reply with a specific message. Make sure you set some exceptions (for instance based on the subject field so it will not reply on subject with e.g. reply, failed, undeliverable, etc...) otherwhise you could create endless mailloops between two mailservers and those can be a real threat to the mailservers!
