Default Office 2007 install fails with a setup cannot continue message
Hi All

I also have the same problem. This is an MSDN download on a virgin install
of Windows Vista Ultimate (also an MSDN download). I tried re-burning the
ISO to disk to make sure it wasn't a burn problem (same error) and then I
downloaded Office again - in case the download was corrupt and still have
exactly the same error. This fails within a second of the Setup windows
opening - but I cannot find a log file.

Anyone know what's up as this looks like a bug or a fault with the Office
2007 Pro download?

If it helps, all I have installed on a newly formated drive is Vista
Ultimate, the latest Radeon drivers, the latest Realtek HD drivers, Windows
Live OneCare, Nero 7.5, Canon IP5200 driver, Citrix MetaFrame Presentation
Server Client plus the latest Vista updates from Microsoft Update site. All
seems to be working fine except Office install.

The installation is not corrupt and the disk is availaable, I redid the
iso
download from MSDN and the error still occurs.
