Thank you for the instruction on how this feature works. We have used
wordprocessors that also provide a feature that will update or
refresh all the cross-references upon request by the user. For
example, the user can refresh all references in Corel Wordperfect by
selecting a menu option to 'generate' the cross references. In our
opinion, this is an extremely effective approach to making sure the
references are functioning correctly and displaying the proper
information.

Will "Update fields" not do that?
