Do you have MS Photo Editor on your system. It seems to be the best OLE
Server to embedd Images with. Set it up to be the registered viewer for
those Image file types you want to embedd in your MDB.
You will have to delete any existing Images you have embedded.

Hi Stephen,
I just checked and "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" is the registered
program for BMP, JPG, GIF files. Hope that helps. Let me know if you
need
more information.
Thanks for your help!

What is the original Image file format you are inserting?
What program is acting as the OLE Image server to embedd the
Images(What
program is registered to handle the file extension of the images)?

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to create a small database for a collection I have and
need
to
add an image for each item. As this collection will never exceed
300
objects, I thought I might embed a small image of each item. The
problem is,
no matter what I try (embedding or linking to an outside file),
the
image
quality on my Access form is VERY BAD. I'm assuming that Access
must
create
its own thumbnail of this image and; therefore, no matter what I
try I
can't
seem to get anything better. I've done a lot of experimenting with
the
actual images (making them smaller, etc), but nothing seems to
work.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
