Sorry Russ,

In my toolbar, I have a window with "Type a Contact to Find"... if I type
the contact name, e.g. Paul Thomas in the window and hit enter, it will
search the Contacts database and bring up the contact. Recently added
contacts however present the Windows dialogue box that says "Outlook could
not find the requested contact". If I hit the alpha tab down the right side
of the screen and scroll to Thomas, the contact is there and can be displayed
in full...

Does that clarify it sufficiently?

Some change appears to have happened because it is not all contacts in the
database. First noticed about two or three weeks ago... maybe one
month...

I sync okay with my Sony Ericsson P910i and the record transfers onto
that
without a hassle, it's just the search does not work... What next?

Ensure that you know which Contacts Folder you are adding the Contacts

and that this folder has been enabled as an email address book in its
