Default Need to add category members to a new distribution list

It seems so backward to try to send an email and then copy these people
over
to a distr list. Also, WHY doesn't someone at MS come up with a way to
"add
members" to a distr list by showing their category? Also goofy to
me....

Did you use a By Category view or search for the category? If you
searched, you need to select all, then use new message to contact. If
you use By category view, you need to select just the category header.
