Default Moving Contacts and In Box to a new computer

Easiest way to move over Outlook data from an old machine to a new one is to
close Outlook on the old machine. Copy the *.PST files from the old machine
to the new one via your external firewire/usb hard drive. Open the *.PST
files in the new version of Outlook.

The *.PST files are in a hidden/system folder located under your profile.
So if you decide to search for them, make sure you turn on all the options
in Windows Explorer/Search to show/look in these types folders.

I have just bought a new computer and have installed Outlook 2007 on it. I
am trying to move the contents of my In Box and Contacts from my old
computer running Outlook 2003 over to the new computer. I am following
the
Help suggestions but can's get it to write to my external hard drive. I
haven't been able to do anything with the In Box contents and moving them.
