Default Mirrored Page Numbers

I know you can do it (I've been using a similar setup for years with various
versions of Publisher) but don't remember how I got there.
Must be something to do with the rt/left master page setup. Are you doing
the setup in 2-page view?

Thanks JoAnn.
I followed your suggestions, but something seems to be missing. In my
original question, I omitted to say that I am attempting to set up page
numbering in master pages. After I create a pair of master pages for
facing pages in the document, I see how to place a page number in the
footer at either margin. When I place the page number at the left margin
on the left master page, the page number also appears at trhe left margin
on the right master page. When I change the position of the page number on
the right master page to the right margin, it moves to the right margin on
the left master page. What I'm looking for, and was previously able to do
in PageMaker, was to create a pair of master pages with the page number on
the left on the left master page and the page number on the right on the
right master page. Can I do this in Publisher? If so, how?
