fine.
I have two systems which i have configured with outlook 2007 with POP3
to my exchange server these two systems aslo working fine. these two
systems are not at all in domain and the configuration is
POP3:mail.domian.com SMTP:mail.domain.com
and i checked that option "Leave a copy of message in Server"
Now I am going to change those two systems, for that i have taken the
backup and i am trying to configure the same account in the new system
then its downloading all the mails from day one its around 2GB data here
I dont want to download all the mails from Exchange server i just want
to configure the Outlook and i will configure the backedup data . please
suggest me for this issue
thanks In advance Subbu. Submitted using http://www.outlookforums.com

Please have your Exchange administrator configure Outlook Anywhere in
your Outlook 2007 and stop using POP3 for Exchange server access.

There is no easy way to tell POP3 to download from a specific period of
time.

You should use native Exchange account instead of POP3. There are zero
negatives to it.
