Default Avery 5395 Name Labels

Hi Guy,

This will be easier to do if you select Options from the Tools menu, then go
to the General tab and change the Measurement units to mm.

Then from the Tools menu, select Letters and Mailings, then Envelopes and
Labels and go to the labels tab and click on the Options button and locate
the 5395 label. Then click on the Details button and make the following
changes to the dimensions shown where 'n' is the distance in mm that you
want the border to be from the edge of the label/

Top Margin - Add n (e.g. for n = 3mm, change the setting from 14.8 to 15.1)
Side Margin - Add n
Vertical Pitch - No change
Horizontal Pitch - No change
Label Height - Subtract 2 n
Label Width - Subtract 2 n

Click on OK, OK and then New Document. Now apply a border to each cell ONE
CELL AT A TIME, so that you do not have borders on the rows and columns
between the actual labels.

If the registration of the labels on the sheet is not exactly correct, or
your printer feed is a little bit off, the border might not appear
equidistant from the edge of each label. You may be able to overcome that
by fiddling with the width of the columns and height of the rows.

I am trying to put a border around my name labels. Sounds easy. I first
choose Tools Letters and MailingsEnvelopes and Labels. I then select

Avery
5395 and click OK. I then click New Document. I then choose FormatBorders
and Shading, then select All, and the Style and Color on the border. Not

so
easy though--the borders actually miss the labels on the left-hand and
bottom of the labels in column one and on the right-hand and bottom on the
labels in column two.

How can I get the borders to print evenly just inside the edge of each
label? Is there an easy way to do this? I have tried to create a custom
label. I have tried changing the margins. Everything I do is hit or miss,
and so far I've missed every time.
