1. Export both Address Books via Address Book: File | Export | Address
Book (WAB). You will end up with two (2) WAB files; e.g., JOE.WAB and
MARY.WAB.
2. Place a copy of each WAB file on the desktop of the new computer,
right-click on each file, select Properties & remove any Read-Only
attribute the file may have.
3. Before adding any contacts whatsoever to your brand-new Address Book,
import both WAB files via Address Book: File | Import | Address Book
(WAB), pointing the wizard to each desktop file, in turn.
NB: Beware of dupes!
NB: You may find that any Address Book Folders or Groups will neither
export nor import.
