Default Installation won't start because it says space required on D: (CD)

I still need help with this. I have checked the program list, nothing remains
on the computer associated with MS Office, including updates. Everything is
gone. But every time I try to install Office (2003) it gives me the same
error. For some weird reason, it thinks it needs writable space on the
installation CD to continue, so I can't proceed. I have tried changing the
drive letter assignment, but that doesn't help either.

This all started after I used msicuu2.exe (not realizing how destructive it
is) so I'm sure it has to do with that. I have previously reinstalled Office
2003 on this same machine with no problems. Help!
